This commemorative 1994-95 Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup Champions frame showcases two 8x10" photos, and an NHL licensed replica copy of the same scoresheet from the finals in 1995. The descriptive plate at the bottom of the frame recaps the glory of the championship and discusses the heroics of Mr. Hockey, Gordie Howe. The series was contested by the Montreal Canadiens, appearing in their fifth of ten straight finals and the defending champion Detroit Red Wings, in the third Detroit-Montreal Final series of the 1950s and the second in a row. The Wings won the series 4-3 to win their second consecutive Stanley Cup, fourth in six seasons, and seventh overall. The finished frame size is 25"x36"x1".
